Assurance

The Lead Battery 360° Assurance Programme is a comprehensive process that allows participating sites to undergo independent verification that they are delivering actions supporting the seven Guiding Principles of Lead Battery 360°, which define responsible production and sourcing in the lead battery value chain. Sites that are certified have demonstrated their commitment to adhering to internationally recognized responsible operating practices.

Participants in the Lead Battery 360° Assurance Programme are assessed every three years against the Lead Battery 360° Code by senior assessors. 

After successful completion of the assessment, sites that demonstrate their conformance to the Code and its Performance Expectations are awarded a Lead Battery 360° Certified Participant Claim.
